Following the annual charity activities such as funding medical treatment for babies with heart disease and the disadvantaged (the program called Empathetic hearts), Vietnam Sturgeon Group always consider contributing to share with unlucky fates and disadvantaged in life. Recently, the Group has taken the semi – cooked high – quality products such as Grill sturgeon with pepper, sturgeon roll in piper lolot, Tempura sturgeon, ... on charity meal for the poor patients at the K Central Hospital, in co-operation with Linh Son Pagoda’s charity group (Tran Khat Chan, Hanoi).
More than 1000kg of semi – cooked sturgeon products has been gifted to the charity group of Linh Son Pagoda to serve the most practical meals to poor patients. Vietnam Sturgeon Group's semi – cooked products is mainly distributed in the chain of restaurants, supermarkets. All are processed according to standard food chain of Hapro with recipes exclusively provided by the Saigon Chef Association. According to Mrs. Huong, chairman of the charity group at Linh Son Pagoda, the Vietnam Sturgeon Group's activities have contributed to improve the quality of meals to patients in difficult circumstances, it’s the noble gesture of a typical enterprise that we enormously encourage.
The women of the charity group have to gather at Linh Son Pagoda in the early morning for cooking, preparing meals, so that every day delicious hot meals are always ready for poor patients. Most people live in the urban of Hanoi, however some living 20km far from the pagoda have to travel all the long way to help.
With the help of Vietnam Sturgeon Group, she said: "Cooking these dishes help me save more time. Bring them the high – quality and adequate nutritious food also show make me feel assured and proud”.
At about 7 am, fish porridge for breakfast was brought to the hospital and gift to the patient. Nearly 9 am, the hot lunch has also been prepared. Each serving has sturgeon roll wrapped in lolot leaves, su su fried vegetables and soup. Each meal, which is brought to the hands of patients, simple though, is the contribution of so many philanthropists and sympathetic ones. Vietnam Sturgeon Group joins charity group for the hope that small gift but the most practical help will ease the difficulties and pains of patients who daily cope with illness.
